Expertise in Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems, with focus on ETCS (European Train Control System) as part of the ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System). Experience with multiple hardware and software components, system protocols. Integration of National Control Systems (NTC) with signaling system ETCS.
System Engineering, Architecture, Integration
Integration of safety-critical on-board system (ETCS) on the vehicle, configuration of system components, functionalities, implementation of customer's requirements. Defining system architecture, signaling and interfaces.
V&V, Testing, Data Analysis
Carry out broad variety of test campaigns of vehicle systems comprising Train Track Integration (TTI), ESC. laboratory and interoperability tests (IOP) in international test facilities across Europe in Amersfoort, Zurich, Rome, Bologna. Participation in field testing in multiple countries on multiple vehicle types.
